No, not my kids, my kids are inside, I mean the literal monsters. Oh, they should be alright, I fed them last night. Here have a coffee. Are you comfortable? No, that's ok. Now I can’t start writing until I have a coffee and digestive biscuits to hand. Do you have a ritual before you start writing, or is it spontaneous venture?
I used to have a ritual with a nice organized desk. Those days are long gone and now I write anytime I have a spare minute.
Self care is important these days, and women tend to leave ourselves to last everytime. How do you care for yourself.
Sadly, the only thing I do is go to my doctor appointments and take a nice long hot bubble bath when I get a chance.
You have a choice of five people to invite to dinner. Any five in life or beyond? Ok, make that four because it is a given you will invite yours truly. Four friends plus me to your dinner party. Who are they and why?
Edgar Allan Poe and Amelia Earnhardt because both of their lives and death have always fascinated me. Ryan Reynolds because his movies always makes me want to write. And Lee Franklin because she is a great friend :p

How do you determine success for yourself?
Achieving everything I have ever been told I would never accomplish.
Tell us, why should we read your work? Don’t say because it is better than mine.
You should read mine because of the characters I create. Each one can draw you in and make you emotional to where you would want to read more.
Is there one thing you would have done differently in your writing career?
I wish I never released anything that wasn't under more scrutiny and editing.

Hmmm I would have to say that it's a toss up between my Mr. Rumple character and Mallory the one who fell in love with him in the beginning

A mother isn’t meant to have favourites, but tell me, what is your favourite story that you have written? And why? Just so all those other stories know.
My favorite books are Twisted Sideways and Corpse Prison. Equally because both of them tie in all my stories together.
Other than WIHM which is an amazing month for female horror writers. How do you feel other women can best support each other in this genre?
I love the fact that there is support. Extreme horror is a tough genre to break into. I try to show my support by sharing anything my female author friends post about any project they have produced.
